What is Collision?

Collision is “America’s fastest growing tech conference” created by the team behind Web Summit. In three years, Collision has grown to almost 20,000 attendees from 119 countries. This opportunity is available to startups with physical headquarters in Arlington and Alexandria, Virginia. Otherwise, you are:

  • An early stage startup using technology to solve a problem.
  • A passionate team with the drive to move their business forward.
  • Ready and interested in engaging fully in the Collision events program.
What do you get out of it?

AEDP and AED will sponsor ALPHA-level entry ($850 value) for participating startup companies, which provide the following opportunities:

  • Up to (3) tickets to Collision, which includes access to all three days of the main event and the Night Summit evening events.
  • Exhibition space for one of the three days.
  • Opportunity to access speakers, workshops, roundtables & office hours.
  • Fulfillment officer to help with preparations six weeks out from the event.
  • Access to Collision mobile application to help you build connections prior to and during the event, and to curate your own schedule.
  • Eligibility to apply for additional showcase opportunities, including for the pitch stage and investor meetings.
  • Startup's logo and a link to Startup's website will be included on the Event website and app as a Startup exhibitor.

Collision, America’s fastest growing tech conference, will take place for the third year in a row in New Orleans. Stepping into 2018, Alexandria and Arlington, Virginia are making a concerted effort to engage the nation with their best and brightest tech stars. Having attended the conference in years past, and with the goal of maintaining momentum, Arlington Economic Development (AED) and Alexandria Economic Development Partnership (AEDP) are collaborating to offer the chance for local startups to apply for one of 12 fully-sponsored startup booths at the conference to showcase their innovative products and services.
